CHARDHAM YATRA FROM Ex-HARIDWAR

Day 1 : Haridwar to Barkot - (205 K.M 7-8 Hrs)

Arrive at Haridwar and get picked by our representative from Bus stand, Railway Station and Dehradun Airport, and transfer to Barkot. Enroute take a view of the city surrounded by hills, visit Kempty Waterfalls. Have your lunch at Kempty Waterfalls. After arriving Barkot get transferred to the hotel and check in. Dinner at the hotel and retire for the day. Relax and store your energy for the Pahad Yatra for Yamunotri.

Day 2 : Barkot - Yamunotri - Barkot - (45K.M 2Hrs 5 K.M. Trekk) Alt:3225M

Get up early, have breakfast at the hotel to start the day. Then transferred to Yamunotri Dham via Hanuman chatti to Janki chatti. Reach JaanKi Chatti the point from where the 5 km trek starts the first pahad yatra of the trip.You also hire a Doli and Pony for your trek (price not included). The trek passes through a lush green valley. On reaching the Yamunotri, take a holy dip in the Yamuna river, then visit Surya Kund to boil some rice and potatoes. Visit Divya Shila and offer cooked rice and potatoes to worship then finally take blessings of Maa Yamunotri. The idol of Ganga Devi is housed in the revered temple. Trek down to Janki Chatti & later drive back to Barkot for an overnight stay. Have dinner at the hotel to end the day.

Day 3 : Barkot - Uttarkashi - (82 K.M. 3-4Hrs) Alt:1158 M

Wake up early, have your breakfast and then move ahead from Barkot to Uttarkashi, holy city situated on the bank of river Bhagirathi. On arrival check in to the hotel and get ready for local sightseeing includes

Vishwanath temple, one of the oldest temples in the heart of the city. Shakti Temple is famous for its big Trishul of about 6 meters in height. Return to the hotel and have your diner, overnight stay.

Day 4 : Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Uttarkashi | Gangotri Temple Visit - (97 K.M. 3-4 Hrs.) Alt:3415M

Early morning after breakfast drive to Gangotri enroute at Gangnani.Then further head towards Gangotri via Harshil valley famous for its deodar trees and mountains which are the major attractions for the devotees, a lush green valley with beautiful mountains. After arrival at Shri Gangotri take holy dip, after worship Goddess Ganga to absolve the sins. Relax while the greenery around, at evening after arti head back to your hotel overnight stay at Uttarkashi.

Day 5 : Uttarkashi - Guptkashi - (200 K.M. / 7-8 Hrs) Alt:1319 M

Get transferred to Guptkashi after breakfast via Devprayag and Rudraprayag. See the confluence of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi river at Devprayag.Take your lunch at srinagar. Visit a view of Rudraprayag, Ukhimath in the journey. Once reached, Guptkashi,visits Ardhnarishwar Temple.Get transferred to hotel inner at the hotel and retires for the day.

Day 6 : Guptkashi - Sonprayag - Kedarnath | Kedarnath Temple Visit- ( 30 K.M./ 2 Hrs + 17 K.M. Trekk)

Get transferred to Soneprayag from here your journey to Kedarnath continues by 17 k.m. trek or by pony/palanquin/helicopter. Helicopter service is available from Sersi and Phata. Have your lunch at different food points when trekking. On reaching check into your Cottages/Hut/Tent then visit Kedarnath temple, worship almighty Lord Shiva, with eye charming views around the temple. Attend evening aarti, also visit Samadhi of Sankaracharya and overnight stay at your Cottages/Hut/Tent at Kedarnath.

Day 7 : Kedarnath - Sonprayag - Guptkashi (30 K.M. 2Hrs + 16 K.M)

After your breakfast again visit Kedarnath Temple (if you wish) & start your trip back to Sonprayag by 16 k.m. trekking or by pony/palanquin/helicopter. After boarding the vehicle at Guptkashi. On arriving check in to your hotel and stay overnight to regain your strength.

Day 8 : Guptakashi - Joshimath - Badrinath (115 K.M. 4 Hrs + 45 K.M. 2Hrs)

Wake up early, have your breakfast, then start your journey to Badrinath, via Rudraprayag take a look at the town where Alaknanda and Mandakini meet then through Karnaprayag, Nandaprayag after reaching Badrinath, check-in the hotel in Badrinath, have a bath in Tapt kund then darshan at Badrinath Vishal Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, attend evening aarti. Take mesmerizing scenic views around the temple, also visit Narad Kund, Ganesh Gufa and Bhim Pul. Head back to your hotel and overnight stay.

Day 9 : Badrinath - Joshimath - Rudraprayag (165 K.M. 6Hrs)

Morning enjoys the after breakfast, drive from Rudraprayag via Joshimath. Visit on the way to Darshan of Vishnuprayag, Narsingh Temple in Joshimath, also visit Karnprayag and Nandprayag. Check into the hotel after arrival for an overnight stay at Rudraprayag and free for evening leisure.

Day 10 : Rudraprayag - Rishikesh - Haridwar (230 K.M. 7-8Hrs)

Morning after breakfast, drive to Haridwar / Dehradun / Rishikesh. Drop at Hotel / Airport/ Railway station.
