In a One-Way, cab booking you take a transfer from one city to another city only for the forward trip, therefore do not need to pay round trip, both side toll tax. In one way trip, only one halt is allowed during the trip. If you just need a drop. A one-way drop with Chiku Cab is typically 10% to 50% (depending on cab availability) cheaper than a round trip. The price of the one-way trip is determined by our system automatically and is a function of the probability of the driver getting a fare for the return trip.

    • You will download the application for your sole, personal use and will not resell it to a third party;

    • You will not assign or otherwise transfer your account to any other person or legal entity
    • You will not use an account that is subject to any rights of a person other than you without appropriate authorization;
    • You will not use the application for unlawful purposes, including but not limited to sending or storing any unlawful material or for fraudulent purposes;

Toll-Tax is charged by NHAI & respective authorities for using National & State Highways.

It is not included in the Outstation trip, One-Way Trip, or Round Trip Fares. It needs to be directly paid by the Guest @ Toll-Booths.

Toll-Tax & Parking Charges are not included in the invoice. Please collect Toll-Tax receipts directly @ Toll-Booths. State tax paid by the customer is always extra.

Note: For One Way Trips, Only One-Way Toll Tax is applicable.

The software support charge is the Chiku Cab mobile application maintenance charge that is paid monthly in the first week of each month.

What happens if I do not pay software support charge?

If you don't pay the monthly software support charge, your application & vendor-ship account will be blocked for that particular month & your whole Wallet amount will also be deducted on a temporary basis until you pay that charge. Once you paid, the same amount will be added again.

How is the total taxi fare calculated for outstation taxi service?

Outstation taxi fares constitute various components as below:

  • Base Fare Rate: This is the base rate that will be charged on every outstation traveled with a minimum charge. The rate varies with car models and operators.
  • Minimum KM charged per day: There is a minimum distance that will be charged for every day of usage. In case the actual traveled distance is higher, the latter will be charged. Generally, the minimum distance charged per day is 250KM but it will change according to the city and state (in a few cities and states it will be 300 km).
  • Please consider the following example for clarity: If you are using the vehicle for 3 days the minimum we will charge you for is 3*250=750 Km,
  • In case your actual usage for the three days (combined) is less (say 500 Km) we will still charge you for 750 Km and in case your usage is higher than 900, we will charge you for your actual KM used.
  • Daily Driver allowances: For intercity travel, customers need to pay driver allowances. The allowance amount varies with the operator. Some operators might also have separate day and night allowances.
  • Toll, parking, and state taxes: These will be charged on the actual at the end of the journey. You need to settle this with the driver in return for the relevant receipts. You can always call us on our helpline in case of any discrepancy.
  • Definition of a day: Day is defined as 12 midnight to the next day 12 midnight for all calculation purposes.
  • Extra K.m charge is also mentioned in your ticket
  • GST 5% is also applicable on every booking

How is the total taxi fare calculated for Local / Airport transfer cab service through Chiku Cab?

Local / Airport Transfer taxi fares constitute various components as below:

  • Base fare: This is the base rate that will be charged. The base fares are generally available as 6-hour 60 KM and 8-hour 80 KM packages, 12 hours 120k.m
  • Additional KM charges: In case the actual travel is more than the KM mentioned in the base package, an additional amount per additional KM needs to be paid.
  • Additional hour charges: In case the actual hours are more than the usage hour mentioned in the base package, an additional amount per additional hour needs to be paid.
  • Toll and parking charges: These will be charged on actual at the end of the journey. You need to settle this with the driver in return for the relevant receipts. You can always call us on our helpline in case of any discrepancy.
  • Driver Day charge: For every Local taxi package Driver DA charge is applicable; it will be 250/-
  • Driver Night charges: If the driver drives after 9 p.m to 6 a.m then a driver night charge is applicable

What if the driver is asking for extra payment and I do not agree

Normally the driver will not ask for any payment beyond the amount that is mentioned in your booking ticket. If the driver asks for additional payment claiming extra km driven, toll tax, state tax, or parking charges, please always ask the driver to provide a duty slip with the details of payment being requested. If you feel that the charge being requested is not justified, you may call our customer support at 844-844-5504 / 628-082-0037 and ask to resolve the situation. If you end up having to pay the driver but do not agree with the charges, please take a picture of the duty slip details of the payment and send it to our team at info@chikucab.

What happens if I cancel my booking within 4 hr of the scheduled pick-up time

If your booking is canceled within 4 hr of the scheduled pick-up date and time, it shall be treated as a NO-Show by the customer. No refund shall be applicable in such cases, and the entire booking amount/advance shall be treated as cancellation charges.

What happens if I cancel my booking between 4 hr to 24 hr of the scheduled pick-up time

If your booking is canceled prior to between 4 and 24 hours of the scheduled pick-up time and pick-up date, a cancellation charge equivalent to 15% of the booking amount or the actual advance amount received from the customer, whichever is less, shall be applicable. The balance, if any, shall be returned as Chiku coin in the customer's Chiku Cab account within 21 days

If your booking is canceled after you have been matched with your Driver/Vendor and taxi, it shall be treated as a NO-SHOW by the customer. NO-REFUND shall be applicable in such cases, and the entire booking/Advance amount shall be treated as cancellation charges

In case the tour/taxi package gets canceled 30 or more days before the tour date, then 100% of the total amount will be refunded to the Customer's CHIKUCABS account as Chiku Coins (Credits) within 30 days.

In case the booking gets canceled between 7 to 15 days before the tour date, then 50% of the advance amount will be deducted, and the rest will be returned to the Customer's CHIKUCABS account as Chiku Coins (Credits) within 21 days.

In case the booking gets canceled between 2 to 6 days before the tour date, then 75% of the advance amount will be deducted, and the rest will be returned to the Customer's CHIKUCABS account as Chiku Coins (Credits) within 21 days.

In case the Taxi package/Tour packages/holiday package gets canceled between 16 to 30 days before the tour date, then 25% of the advance amount will be deducted, and the rest will be returned to the Customer's CHIKUCABS account as Chiku Coins (Credits) within 21 days.

In case the booking gets canceled between 1 to 48 hours, then NO REFUND will be applicable.

After Sharing Driver/Vendor details NO REFUND is applicable.

Can I cancel my booking in the middle of the journey?

Yes, you can cancel your booking trip in the middle of the journey, but you will need to pay the full booking amount to Chiku cab. If you don't pay the estimated booking amount, will I have to pay the full booking amount in such a case?

What happens if Chikucab cancels my tour/taxi package

What is the meaning of NO-SHOW case

NO-SHOW case means the customer avoids the trip even if everything is assigned for the trip. If there is a NO-SHOW from your end, i.e., you are not at the pick-up location and/or your assigned driver is unable to get in touch with your registered phone/alternate number on the scheduled pick-up date and time. The driver shall wait for a reasonable period of half an hour from the scheduled booking time and therefore may treat the booking as canceled with no refund

What happens if I cancel my Multicity trip

For a Multicity trip, the charge for the starting day (which means a one-day running charge) would be deducted from the total advance amount, and the rest refund will be issued as CHIKU coins to the user id.

Can I request my cab to be waiting at a place (e.g., street intersection)

NO, we require a valid pickup address. For the security of the driver, we do not accept street intersections as a pickup address.

How can I verify if my driver and cab are valid or not

At the pickup time, you must check the ID of the driver and confirm the License number which we provide to you. Also, check the number plate and cab model at the start of the trip. Do not ride if the vehicle does not match what we provided you earlier.

What can I do if the driver and cab do not match

Do not ride if the vehicle and driver information do not match. We shall not be responsible or liable in any manner if you choose to ride in a vehicle that is not commercially licensed or ride with a driver other than the one assigned to you. What happens if my assigned cab and driver do not reach on pick up time

Chiku Cab is proud of its on-time performance, but some time-sensitive situations involve an Airport pick/drop or meeting/exam at your destination. Please budget for additional time (usually 30 min traffic delays for every 2 hr of estimated travel time) and also let us know as a special request when making your booking. We will make additional efforts to ensure that we are vigilant and ensure safe and punctual transit for you. If in any case your cab is delayed, then we change the cab with immediate effect.

What happens if the my cab breaks down during the journey

All the cabs of Chiku Cab are new, not less than 3 years old, and every cab is regularly inspected along over 60 different points. However, breakdowns cannot be anticipated and do happen. Chiku Cab expeditiously arranges a backup to ensure that your travel plans continue with the least possible delay.

How can I know if my KM limit exceeds

Please verify the opening KM and closing KM and also mention it on the duty slip.

How long will the cab wait for me in case if I am late

The assigned driver and cab will wait for 30 minutes at your pickup address normally, but after 30 minutes, waiting charges will apply automatically. Waiting charges are billed on an hourly basis at Rs. 250/-.

Can I change the driver and cab during the Outstation trip

Do you provide multiple pick up and drop if I need

For one-way trips, we do not provide multiple pick up and drop, but for taxi package/round trip, it will be applicable. In the case of One way, if you want multiple pickups and drops, then it will be chargeable at Rs. 250.
