Shiva devotees come here to complete their Jyotirlinga yatra. Childless couples pray at the sanctum too, because of the legend of Ghushma, whose son Shiva brought back to life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The temple is 30 km from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad) and 1.5 km from the Ellora Caves. City buses get packed on Mondays, and evening taxis are hard to find in Verul. When she had a son, a jealous Sudeha killed the boy and threw his body into the same pond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ghushma kept praying, and her son walked out of the water alive.
