You can see the whole of Gujarat skies being filled with kites, flying from youngsters to old-age people. The atmosphere in Gujarat is vibrant throughout these two days. A special savory called Undhiyo (a Gujarati delicacy made from winter vegetables) and Sesame Chikkis (a sweet dish made from jaggery and sesame seeds) are made during this period. On this day, women are seen decorating the lobby of their houses with beautiful, colorful patterns, surrounded by flowers and gobbemma.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Day Three<\/strong> \u2013 This day is called Kanuma and is dedicated to the farmers of Andhra Pradesh. As the cattle are considered to be the most important factor of farmers living, the cattle are worshipped on this day.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Day Four<\/strong> \u2013 This day is called Mukkanuma, in which the farmers offer their prayers to rain and soil and ask for strength for the harvest season. During \u2018Ellu Birodhu\u2019 farmer&#8217;s ornament, their bulls and themselves dress up in bright clothes to mark the beginning of the harvest season. A ritual called \u2018Kichchu Haayisuvudu\u2019 is performed where farmers along with their bulls jump over a fire pit. It is quite a sight to watch!
